Audi taps Israeli startup Cognata to accelerate AV ambitions
At Cognata, I was instrumental in transforming our simulation technology from a breakthrough concept into a fully commercialized product. As VP Product (employee #16), I led the charge to productize our autonomous vehicle simulation platform—a tool that recreates real cities with AI-powered traffic models and sensor data to generate diverse, realistic testing scenarios.
Our innovative approach quickly attracted attention, culminating in our first OEM contract with Audi. Audi’s Autonomous Intelligent Driving unit, composed of experts from Microsoft, Tesla, and Audi itself, is leveraging our platform to validate and refine its self-driving technology in a virtual environment. This multi-year partnership not only accelerates the path to market for self-driving vehicles but also highlights the transformative impact of advanced simulation in the race for safer, smarter mobility solutions.
